CARBON is a brand of Graphic Guides Design Company, founded in Hong Kong since 1995. We have created a novelty digital camera called “One Mini” in 2012, which is designed to resemble a pocket-sized version of Polaroid’s iconic SX-70 One Step Instant Camera. 6 years later, we have created another iconic camera -- the “Escura Instant-60s” which is 100% hand-powered, 100% manual, 100% analog, coated with a nostalgic retro outlook.
Instant photos are amazing as you can witness the image form gradually before your eyes. These delicate items are also wonderful gifts to be shared. There is no re-take nor no post-production polishing. The full manual operation will produce a fantastic picture filled with strong saturated colors and soft vignetting in just seconds after pushing the shutter. The “Instant-60s Camera” is almost ready, but we still need more resources to improve the optics (the Lens) and assure its stable operation. We are proud to create and launch the Carbon One Mini 6 years ago. Today, we are working very hard to bring the Escura Instant-60s Instant Camera to life and we are aware of the risks involved in such projects. We are dedicated to delivering a flawless instant camera that fulfills your expectations. Our commitment to excellence means that the first shipment is set to go in December. Although we work closely with our manufacturers to ensure everything runs smoothly, there are possibilities of unexpected delays in production or delivery. We promise to keep you informed every step of the way. We are fully ready to expand our camera collection from digital to instant and we are excited to share this experience with you on Kickstarter.
